I’m sorry to announce; that due to the current COVID-19 situation, our April 2020 club meeting has been cancelled. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, but this action has been taken in order to protect the health and well-being of our members. We thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
Our guest speaker for the evening will be local wedding and people photographer, Belinda Fettke.
Belinda considers herself a storyteller and is drawn to passionate, creative people … hence her bi-line “the Art of Storytelling”. She strives to capture memories and share stories through the visual medium of photography. She especially loves photographing people and considers herself lucky to do something she loves as ‘work’.
Belinda tells me, “I find inspiration in the simple things around me, in love, in family and in amazing literature. To convey an emotion and feel something real from an image or written words is incredible to me”.

An excerpt from Belinda’s B-Photography website, the ‘meet me’ section;
My passion is photographing people and I have developed my business ‘BPhotography’ over the last 14 years. I think of my work as a woven thread that intricately ties people, emotions, time and place together into ‘The Art of Storytelling’. The most important thing is that the photography is about you and that the images created tell a story for you and your family to cherish forever.We love to share in your excitement and capture irreplaceable memories for you and your family by taking time to build a relationship, listening to what is important to you and understanding your expectations. I was President of the Tasmanian Branch of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography for two years (2011-2013). The photographic community I immerse myself in enriches both my photography and my life as a person. It inspires me to be creative and push myself on all levels.
