This organised excursion is open to all current NTCC members.

Sunset is at 20:00, and there are often pelicans on the lake to photograph.

We will then be photographing the ‘Milky Way Galactic Core’, which will be in horizontal orientation and setting in the western sky.

The Lake is often very calm allowing for some great reflections of the stars in the water.

The Milky Way Core will be visible to photograph between 21:00 and 22:30.
We will have a brief ‘workshop’ and run through ideal camera settings etc between 20:30 and 21:00.

It is recommended that members car-pool to reduce the risks, and the traffic on the roads. The road into the lake is dirt and there is always a lot of wildlife around at night.

If the weather is unsatisfactory on the night, this event will be rescheduled for Saturday 6th November 2021.
