Welcome to the Northern TasmaniAN Camera Club (NTCC)
We meet at 7:00 pm in the Lions Club at 18 Merino Street, Kings Meadows, on the second Tuesday of every month.
We welcome and cater-for all levels of photographer; professionals and beginners alike.
Formed in 1889, the Northern Tasmanian Camera Club is the third oldest camera club in Australia.
Since its establishment, our camera club has supported and encouraged the photographic interests of people in and around the precincts of Launceston and the Tamar Valley.
Nowadays, we are a motivated and friendly group of people from all walks of life, who meet in various environments in order to interact in all aspects of photography.
Our constitutional role is to promote and advance photographic excellence through; lectures, demonstrations, field trips, tutorials, workshops and to encourage participation in all levels and standards of photographic competitions and exhibitions.
We believe that by joining us as a member, the club will gain from your knowledge and contribution whilst in turn, you will benefit from the experiences of other members.
We offer;
Numerous photo competitions for both Colour and Monochrome Projected Digital Images.
Regular excursions to some of Tasmania’s finest photographic locations.
Great presenters who provide both insight and tutelage.
Dedicated ‘Learning and Tuition sessions.
Plus a great deal more….
As a camera club, we compete in photographic competitions both nationally and internationally and have a very popular Members Facebook page that features monthly themed photographic challenges.
It would be great to see you at our next meeting.
